Wired magazine arrived through the office door today. It’s an enjoyable read, dancing along a line that marginally separates design issues and tech, from Rolling Stone magazine style features. Alongside ‘Icon’ magazine (architectural design) it’s usually the magazine we’re most likely to make a beeline for. From a design perspective, it’s always interesting to see what products and ideas have been highlighted for the ‘fetish’ section. The April 2012 edition contains ‘Working spaces’ a two page spread highlighting some innovative office spaces for the back garden or unused yard space (pp 60-61). Alongside the innovative OfficePOD, the Pod Space Glidepod really impressed us with it’s clean lines (below). An Odoni Cedarwood shelter with green roof, would make an ideal partner for cycle or equipment storage. The image links through to the Wired magazine feature.
